My  Meditations
"Youth today is lookin' for answers so's they can question them."

There is an existance, a familiar life, outside our own consciousness. It is the consciousness of others.  Yet, again, there are those now living who are seperate from me by having a consciousness of their own.

The most meaningful experience is the meeting of two intellegences.

There are  two different worlds people can live in, a true world and a false world.
The difference between the two is maturity, an emotional maturity which leads to a spiritual matuity which leads to truth.

Order is power. To organize one's life is to bring power and direction to it. Orgainization begins with a disturbance, a deformation, information, pain. Finding stimulation in the direction of inspiration is just the beginning. The next step is being inspired, inspirited by a hero. The template you pattern yourself after is your final end.

My Lord and hero is my love. He inspires me to do his will. His will is that I should follow him. He shows me the desires of my heart, and in fact, he opens myself up to my desires, for it is my desire that thrusts me to my goal to be like him, to  know what I shall be and what I shall have.

God is a man. A perfect being. To know this is to know how to treat others, how to communicate with others, how to gain joy in the society of others

Joseph Smith taught that the first Principle of the Gospel is to know Jesus Christ, and to know that you can talk to  him face to face as one man talks to another man. This kind of personal revelation is what brings strength and stability into one's life.

Jesus Christ is as close to me as I Am to my Self.

Whenever I look up  into the sky I think of the vast distances unimaginable up  there and think of the infinite distance I have fallen to get to this earth and be born into flesh and blood. I fell so far from Eternal Glory, yet, the Eternal beholds me.  I am in the mind of the Eternal. All I behold is in the mind of the Eternal.  I have never been alone.

When you are walking in the Way of Christ, as he taught in the Sermon on the Mount, walking in grace, you are doing the will of God. It is the Way. It is effortless, without fear, the emptiness that is  always  full. It is the battle that is never lost because  winning is not the object of our design. It  is. I Am.  Doing things the Lord's Way, you get a bonus.  It is the life you get when you loose yourself. It is the Life, Light and Salvation.

Ralston (of Purina/Ralston) once wrote that if you prepare yourself Life will place you in your nitch in which you will not only feel at home, but you will find that your service will be maximum and most efficient. He was talking about automatically being emunerated, and that it would  be enough  for you.
There  will come a time for those who prepare themselves, using their God-given talents to prosper the lives of others, when Life will open up a new path for them to walk where they can serve as they were ment to serve, where they can say, now, I am doing what I've always liked to do. It is a resonance with Life in which what you do brings happiness and contentment.
And if you grow to be  liked by others, it is because you like yourself. If you are at peace with others, it is because you are at peace with yourself. The Mastery of Self, brings the Abundant Life.

I have learned one thing in this life that I will take with me to the next life. It is that my life is what I think about. I can control my moods with my thoughts. I can be depressed and feel sorry for myself, or I can enjoy the richness of inspiration. With my thoughts I can feel sluggish or peppy. I can change my wants and desires. I can contact the divine, that god or spirit of the father. I can feel moments of reverence. I can overlook other's mistakes or I can judge them. It's all up to me, what ever I choose to do or to be, I can. I can move forward or backward, go into a valley of wo or climb the mountain heights of divine destiny.
